Are sugar gliders legal in Puerto Rico??

Question

I have been searching the web and making some phone calls, but no luck there. I wanted a ferret but then found out they are illegal in PR. Please HELP!

Hi there...I have a friend who also resides in Puerto Rico and discovered that exotic pets are illegal there because the government would like to protect their native wildlife so any exotic pet is considered a risk if there's accidental escape.
