PS stands for Post Script. It is an additional remark not contained in the body of a letter.

NB stands for Noto Bene. It is Latin for "pay attention, this is important"! (actually note this well)

You can also have PPS in a letter: a Post Post Script. A further additional remark, after the first additional remark.

I forgot what p.s means but n.b means "nota bene" whis is "end of a note"
The usage of p.s is on long letters, while n.b is for short letters or a note.
For example : can't make it to work today, i feel really sick. n.b: please forward to supervisor.
I think they are latin.
