I just hate this show and makes me feel sorry for the people who cant even afford a party since girls who are on this show spend more money on a party then a car.

I really agree with your thoughts and I simply hate this show. Those starring in the show display the wrong picture of their lives. It is a shame that there are some people have got such a nasty idea about making such a show which belittles the way of living of the middle-class(where I am from!) families. I really underrate My Super Sweet 16 as one only for those who want to lose their time.At the age of 16, spending so much makes them undervalue money.

I watched it a couple of times just to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing...how are these kids going to grow up into responsible human beings when they are so over indulged and do not know what it's like to have to earn things in life...the one with the girl whose Dad bought her not one but two cars really did me in....and I wonder what their weddings will be like if their teenage party runs over 200K...and the sad part is that when they do get older, the parents won't have a clue as to why their precious little girls can't make it in the real world....pathetic.....

me. my boyfriend and i thinks that show is such a joke! because the girls on it should be making there own money, and having there own parties. they shouldn't be smooching off of daddy all there lives. i feel sorry for the people as well, because they'll NEVER learn anything if they think they'll just get everything they want just like that.. and not have to earn it.

I know what you mean. MTV is not about Music anymore. They should change its name to BTV (******** Television).
I don't watch it or any shows on MTV, if I do I feel like my IQ is being lowered as soon as I set my eyes on that channel.
Those girls in that show are so spoiled that it's not even funny and never entertaining.

I can't stand MTV in general. It makes me feel bad for people who aren't able to afford food, let alone a decadent sweet f*c*ing 16 party.

Well, I like the show, but the kids on there are just so spoiled and dramatic and immature. It's kind of entertaining to watch psycho rich bitches, but I totally get why you hate it... stuck up girls who only care about themselves.

I hate it because all the kids on there do is show off how rich mommy and daddy are and how they're never going to have to work a day in their lives.
It sucks and makes me jealous.

Sometimes I have to feel sorry for those who do get invited because they'll have to follow certain dress codes and make themselves look worse than Miss B**** just so she'll stand out. But I did see ONE rich girl who was (heaven forbid) NICE. But she did come from a small town. She invited all the teenagers in her neighborhood, I think. But as I said before...small town. I guess when it comes to small towns, everyone is basically nice (except for, ya know, the sickos). Even the rich b**** isn't a b****.

I do because my 5 year old thinks she can have a party like that . I tell her girl I'm too broke for that.
