I don't mind the question But why not just ask
Are you pregnant or is there a posibility of you pregnant?

And To those that said Men Don't get periods "I KNOW THAT"

Well Thanks for those who answer my question.

It helps them have a starting place as to where to start diagnosis, it tells them that you are still having them for one, and they can immediately rule out pregnancy or not, as pregnancy can produce so many symptoms

They ask women that because the first thing they want to know is if you may be pregnant. Irregular periods or no period at all is a sign that something in the reproductory system might be awry, or that you are pregnant or menapausing and it is important that your doctor know or find out.

Since men do not get pregnant or have any type of cycle like that, I don't think they are asked anything of the like.

Most doctors will ask that so they can figure out your cycle. Usually when they are prescribing birthcontrol, and putting you on any type of medications. Also if your there for gyno reason... and i dont think there is a question for men...LOL

Men don't have periods.

Women with irregular periods or missed periods can be indicative of a possible medical issue.
