Because not only are people ignorant, but they're also arrogant and reckless. The belief that some entity such as God hates homosexuals/bisexuals is not only prejudiced, and in itself immoral on all grounds, but it's also a big-headed and bigoted belief. How can anyone say they know what God, if he exists, believes? To say such things only makes a person appear narrow and foolish.
People also often disagree with things they, themselves, don't do. It's a heinous and ugly tendency, but thankfully only some people fall victim to it. Only problem is learning to ignore those idiots.

There is only one four letter word that describes a person who is gay, it is LOVE !
As long as Fay's are singled out as "different" in as ungodly, perverts and any other demeaning way it will continue,
In this day and age we should be mature and knowledgeable enough to see that this is a way of life that makes gays as equal as any other human being, I am not gay but I support freedom of choice with regards to ones personal lifestyle, I think it is downright sad that so much HATRED comes from the word GAY, how dare you judge? I am a Christian but my bible says God loves ALL EQUALLY.

I know that some people doesn't really understand gay. I am a girl as well. Just like what you said, they are human. They need to be respect and have their rights. God created human just the same way and I don't really like when other treated gay unkindly. I think that gay do things that straught guy can't do. Guess??? They seldom destroy the trust of as girls and they are good friend. They make us laugh in their own little way. Some are also working for their family needs. I aprreciate them a lot. Any individual need to be love and I think the gays should also be treated the same. God bless...

No there is no problem with gay people. We are just as human and are deservent of respect despite what some say. Some think its funny to make fun of the way other people are. What they do, who they are with, etc. Its all the same thing to them. Race, gender, sexuality and faith. If someone doesn't like it, they cause problems. They have no real reason for it and do whatever it is that makes them feel superior by belittling or hurting others with differences. But they are not. They are just as human and lack the moral judgement and respect all of us should have for one another. Thats how I see it anyway.

I am with you. I am not gay nor do I have a problem with anyone who is. No one has a right to tell anyone who they should or shouldn't love. People are narrow minded and very judgmental. I say live and let live. One of my best friends is gay and I love him just the way he is. He is one of the most loving, genuine, caring individuals that I have every met and I don't care what he does in his bedroom. If he likes it then I love it. As long as he's happy.

I don't understand why people have such a problem with people that have a lifestyle that differs from the norm. We should embrace our differences rather than treat people with scorn and contempt. The best thing that we can do is set a good example of tolerance and acceptance for the next generation and hope that they don't turn out to be bigots like Dee Dee.

To Randy: You don't understand "coming out" because there is no need to when you're straight. Straight is the norm; straight is assumed. Gay people have to reveal themselves because they are assumed to be straight otherwise. If a gay person is seeing someone of the same gender, it is hard to answer personal questions unless they "come out" in some way. "What did you do last weekend?" "I saw a movie with Sandra". Who is Sandra? "My partner." They just came out. Why is it stuffing it in people's faces when they are just being honest like any heterosexual would be? People who have boyfriends/girlfriends/husbands/wives generally acknowledge them when talking to other people because they are a major part of their life. Gay people can either lie or be honest about their situation. Sexuality is not just about the bedroom. It relates to people's lives.

Hey! Randy! That's the second time you've used that rant on this site! If you're gonna be a bigot, at least be original! What do you do exactly, hang around the gay and lesbian forum just waiting for a chance to paste that same, sad, pathetic argument again and again and again? /rant

I dont know. My sister just took me to Dress Barn today and her and I tried on dresses. They were really nice to me and I ended up buying a really cute cocktail dress. It is black and you would not believe how curvy I look in it. Anyway, I expected to get the weirdo treatment from them and I didnt. I am just a guy with a girl brain and I guess they got that. Usually I get treated like a freak.
