Most of their hits were either sung by Graham Nash (Carrie Anne)or Allan Clarke.(Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress, He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother) and in the case of Bus Stop and Carousel there were alternating lead voices throughout the songs.

Allan Clarke however is generally considered the lead singer.
