For the last couple of weeks I have been keeping tabs on a website called bidz.com (jewlwey auctions) . And 4 the past 4 days I haven't been able to access this site at all. It always ends in internet explorer closing. Can some1 please try it to see if it works? otherwise it must be my computer ( but everything else seems to be working.) Thanx in advance to those who do this for me.

The site works fine, but after you leave it, My CA anti-spy kicked in, there was a hijacker detected that downloaded from the site and some tracking cookies, then IE encountered a problem.

Scan your system with anti-spy software, I recomend spybot or CA. All are on our Security Center page on our website.

I would Scan disk, check disk, this is in the command prompt "CHKDSK"<--you type that in dos... and a registry cleaner. Maybee save unused files, pics, videos music to c.d.s

If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me on the e-mail address on my site. Let me know how it goes!

I opened it with Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1 and it opened ok. No closing happened. Maybe the site you mentioned has a script that makes IE to shut down. Try Mozilla Firefox.

Works for me. Have you scanned your system for adware? If not try spybot and adware se, as they are free. Might also want to clear your internet history and cookies etc. On ie go to tools/ internet options/ delete history/ cookies etc. Hope this helps.
