I think that since it was this early you could start already. But I will suggest to ask your gyn before you try.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I had one too about 2 years ago on mothers day. But don't think it is going to take you this long to have another baby. I haven't gotten pregnant because hubby was not ready.
Good luck

I am 22 years old and I just had a miscarriage at 5 weeks as well. On 1/31/07 I was and still feel sad. I am sorry i'm not sure of how long to wait but I will say this don't be afraid of miscarrying again. Remove that thought from your head and you will do better. I am sure .

Hi i would wait till you have had a proper period, I know what its like to have a miscarriage i had two last year, you got to give yourself time to get over the loss of your baby Its been four months since i had mc we are still trying for a baby i have already got a daughter who is 2 years old before i had my baby i had a mc, but the docs say its just one of thoughs things dont be worried about trying again i know it is hard but you got to have hope. If you feel ready go for it.

I am sorry for your loss, you have been through alot of upset both emotionally and physically so I would suggest that you wait until your have recovered before trying for another baby. This could be weeks or months but just take it a day at a time, your still young and have plenty time to have another baby, falling pregnant again wont replace the baby that you have lost. Your body ideally needs at least 8weeks to recover but if you want to try before that then no one can stop you but think careful, to give your next pregnancy the best chance, rest your body for maybe 6mths or so and concentrate on getting over your grief then try for a family then. good luck

you should talk to your doc
It depend what kind of miscarage you had, did the doc send the fetus for and otopsy? I know it was not a fetus yet but was anything send to be examine
if not at least ask your doc to check you HCG level
and once it goes down to 0 they always say you can try again
that is the reason why some people say to you to wait until you have a regular period
I just had my third misc in 2 year period last oe was Dec 1st
my HCG just reach 0 last week I am not ready to try until 6 month I want to continue check my HCG (I Choose to not my doc) because I don't think I can mentally deal with another misc
the last one has been a month and I am not over it yet, I am still not over the 1st one, for chrismast I cry for the 2nd misc
it is strange but I am going throw stage and so does my husband
yet we still want to try one more time
Good luck I hope you become pregnant soon and carried to term
Good Bless

You should ask your doctor and they will give you advice. I'd say 2 or 3 months , i recently read a biography where the authors wife had a miscarriage and they had to wait 3 months before starting to try again. It might depend on your situation so again just ask your doctor

But wen they gave me an aftercare leaflet it said u can start trying again wen u feel ready, having sex isnt going to harm u even if u have miscarried. I hope i can start trying again soon too best of luck to u.

I had a miscarriage with my 1st little one additionally. I waited three periods like my doctor endorsed me too. However I additionally heard about doctors that say that attempting after just 1 interval is adequate. In case you rather can't wait, wait at least 1 period and begin making an attempt..... Good good fortune!

they say to wait 3 periods!!
i had a child that was stillborn in jan 02 and was pregnant again in march 02 and my sister miscarried in dec 03 and was pregnant again in feb 04.we've both had 2 children since who are perfectly healthy. i don't think it really matters how long you leave it, i think they tell you 3 months just to make sure everything from the last pregnancy has left your body, personally i couldn't wait 3 months but maybe its best to do as advised. i wish you the best of luck for any further pregnancy's.
