In my choir class, my teacher made me stay after class and here is what she said: Sakura you need to get more sleep because you are fidgeting too much and you have issues concentrating and focusing. And yes to be really frank with you you are acting like a byotch***

I just want to know is it really ok for a teacher to do that? and what should I do

**She actually used the real word

oh um also I only got like 4 hours of sleep the night before because the asswipe had assigned like 10 pages of crossword puzzles on music notes and stuff

The worst part was that she told me to quit swimming I take first aid so I can become a life guard anyways she said that I should quit because I'm not getting enough sleep

Also she mocked me because I have a math tutor too.

Absolutely not. Tell your parents, and set up a meeting with the principal for first thing in the morning.

It's never OK for anyone to disrespect you like that - especially if they are someone who is supposed to be a positive role model for you. I suggest that you have a parent express their concern in WRITTEN form - not verbal to the school principal and CC the district office. IT may take a little legwork on your part to go on the district's webpage to find the person who is in charge of this sort of thing - or you can just ask someone in your school's front office to provide you with this information. The one thing you need to be careful about here is that you need to make sure that someone else actually witnessed or heard her comment. If not - then perhaps simply approaching the teacher before or after class to let her know that you did not appreciate her remark towards you and she might even apologize? Good luck!!

No, it isn't. Unfortunately, not many people will really believe that teachers would use that sort of language. Try taking it up with the principle, he or she might then give the teacher a strike, which is basically a warning (three strikes and you're fired).
However, your teacher may also be fed up with everyone's behavior, so try to be a little understanding.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

No, that is inappropriate for a teacher. Even in private. As a teacher its her responsibility to provide an education, and yours to participate in class. But name calling is not good. Report her to your counselor or principal.
But unless someone else heard her... its your word agains hers.

Oh HELL NO. You have a law suit. Go to your administrator and if they don't do anything legit about it..go to the super intendent..if THEY dont do anything about it..I would take it to the local news or date line. You should have cussed that ***** out! she used that language with you..thats open game for you to say whatever you want.

No, that's not okay. Teachers can not call students names and you should file a formal written complaint against your teacher as soon as you can.
