I swim at the Y for 3 hours a day. I smell like chlorine all the time. I use degree cool rush deoderant but I am still in need of smelling better. Should I try shower gel? What exactly is shower gel? All I use is soap normally, Dial soap to be specific. I don't use shampoo because I don't have any hair at all. Is shower gel just the same as soap? Or do you use it WITH soap? Or in place of it?
What is this axe or tag spray's that I see advertised? Are they like deoderant?

Using scented shower gels or body wash is only going to do the same thing the soap is doing which is covering up the chlorine smell. Trick to it is to rinse yourself off for a few minutes with fresh shower water before you get into the pool. This puts water into your skin so when you get in the chlorinated water, the chlorine won't go INTO your skin. Then when you get through swimming, just shower like normal which will wash the chlorine off.

shower gel is a liquid soap, it works wonders when you use it with a loofa, i would definitely suggest it, it will be an excellent addition into getting you to smell better.
the Axe spray is a full body deodorant, you just spray it wherever you want to smell better and it works like a charm, you could also try using some cologne.
i use Axe body wash as well as their spray deodorant and cologne and i have never had the problem of smelling bad after a hard workout

axe is a good shower gel for men you even smell like it when you get out of the shower !! a shower gel can be replaced by soap or if you like the anti-bacterial affect of dial soap use it first then axe shower gel after the soap. and try the spray with it hope I helpd !!

Shower gel is a kind liquid soap, usually better for your skin and scented better.
Axe and Tag are overrated deoderant sprays that are really overwhelming scents (it has to be used in moderation).
Talk to a demetologist about this if this is a big problem, they should have some better advice. Or you can try swimming less.

Rather than trying to cover up the smell, it needs to be removed. There are anti-chlorine products for body washes and such. Shower gel is normally just a liquid soap.

A shower gel gives your body extra lubricants and oils plus helping to give you a pleasant odor.. per the scent of the gel.
BUT
my guess is you have clorine in your nose and so YOU can still smell yourself.... "you think".. use a saline nose spray solution to clean out your nose and you may find even dial soap makes you smell better.

Shower gel works just like soap except it's a liquid instead of a bar.
It should be in the soap isle at the store and it will be in a bottle.
Choose whichever one you want there are MANY, just smell them and choose one you like.
As for Axe.... I have no idea.

Shower gel is just like soap, just in gel form. After showering, use a nice smelling talcum powder and men's eau de cologne. Use Mennen's Anti-Perspirant.

take a long shower, using some other type soap, see if that helps. also you can use shower to shower (there are several fragrances) try a baking soda deodorant such as arm and hammer, then use a colongne, if you don't i suggest cool water it's a light wonderful scent and not overpowering. and can be purchased at wal mart for minimal cost. hope this helps!
