make system of equations:
x=multiple choice
y=fill-in
3x + 6y =60
9x + 14y = 144
----------------now solve them using substitution
3x= 60 -6y
x= 20 -2y

9(20-2y)+14y=144
180-18y+14y=144
-4y=-36
y=9
place back into original equation
x=20-2y
x=20 -2(9)
=20-18=2
therefore you answered 2 multiple choice questions correctly
and 9 fill-ins
