There actually is a book titled _All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Watching Star Trek_, and it's pretty good. I still enjoy watching the original Star Trek and reruns of shows like Have Gun--Will Travel, Bonanza, Big Valley, The Rifleman, and (my personal favorite) The Fugitive.

Later fare like Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons had that same kind of feel, something missing from today's shows. I'm not saying that television was better then...just different. I tried watching SpongeBob SquarePants with my grandkids once. I nearly suffered an aneurysm.

LOL!!! You and I must have similar tastes in TV shows. I really enjoy all the Star Treks. I also enjoy Bonanza and Smallville, too.

Aside from Smallville,it seems most all the current programing is just sexual innuendo or some other nonsense.

Some of my other favs from the past..(that you might like also) are:

Quantum Leap//////////Knight Rider/////////Little House on the Prairie//////////Gunsmoke//////// k u n g Fu

Happy Viewing!! :-)
