I would just let them know you have a hard time with the smell of certain cologne or perfume and let them know that what they are wearing is bothering you a little and excuse yourself. Nothing wrong with being honest!

I'm very sensitive to smells and I hate perfume and cologne but I don't think I'd say anything to my date. I might if I didn't like the person or if I had been dating them for awhile and was really comfortable with him.

If it makes me sick then I would throw up all over them, then they would have to take a shower to wash away the puke. But while they are doing that, they will also be washing off the perfume without thinking of it. Another option would be to walk up to them, look them right in the eye, and say; "Stink!!! Like s*it you smell. Anyway you do it,it is going to cause a stink.

I hate it when people are that inconsiderate. I have chronic respiratory problems, perfumes, colognes, air fresheners, cleaning supplies ect make me ill. Within five minutes of having to smell someone's strong perfume, I begin wheezing. People really need to think before they bathe in the stuff. Makes you wonder what stanky smell they are trying to cover up doesn't it???????????
* I think I would just come out and say it.........."Look, you are overdosing me on your cologne".

I would just give a hint by using body language, cover my nose with a piece of napkin, or I'll just tell that I'm sensitive to perfume as it caused me headache.

That's a tough one. I once had a date who wore perfume that reminded me of someone I didn't like. I think I acted like I was having an alergic reaction. Kind of sniffing my nose and rubbing my eyes... saying, "Maybe it's your perfume..."

I'd excuse myself and go home, unless it's someone I been seeing for a while, then I'd tell them I'm not crazy about thier perfume.
