the west bengal is among the worst hit in the recent months, wheather it is about the tata's small car project or the salim group's ambitious SEZ project in nandigram in west bengal, as they are coming up on the fertile farm lands. i think that that every responsive administration in the state should see that a survey s done about the amount of the fertile lands and the amount of the waste lands before alloting lands for industrial purposes and they have to allot only wastelands for industrial purposes or if necesary allot farm lands and they have to make the owner of the farm land alloted as an investor in the project, since nothing of this sort has happened who accordin g to you is the culprit in the westbengal's case?

The Culprit is our education system.

We are not educated enough to understand the pro's of benefits and the con's of loss

Have you noticed that most of the responses that you have received are about " capatalists & their greediness" - Well in case anyone ( the ones whi are fighting it out as well) cared to remove poverty the single question is - " Do paddy fields produce more wealth or The Tata factory?"

The obvious answer is then countered by the comment that this wealth goes to The capatalist.

This again is false - This factory in singoor will have 1500 - 2000 workers and officers. Assuming that none of them is local - we still need markets all along Singur to support this. Further SEZ guarantees make sure that all those who live around will have wealth flowing to them.

This is what development is all about - Community benefit

As for indivisuals who lost their livelihood - well thats an area of concern that no one wants to discuss... no one cares...

At present the fight of Singur is a political potboiler with no objectives what so ever.

The party (political) culture is the main culprit, in the West Bengal.
The leftest party of West Bengal wants industrial developments
in the issue of Election of 2008(LOKSABHA assembly) to destroy
the prime cultivation land& farmers. Development is nessery for a country. TATA wants small car projectat at SINGUR, but, there is no need to accure so many agricultural land. Tata's & Salim's industrial projects are not clear to our West Bengal's people.
Because, few days ago, the C.M. has been anounced that " the
govt of WB& tata's are going to develop a housing project at
SINGUR, that is near by our national highway & kolkata airport.
but, tata's are not comming for this said project.
They wants only car project at SINGUR.Therefore, SALIM is
the blacklisted company in INDONESIA. & international market.
The opposition parties agitation has been stoped by W.B.'s
law & order & 144 no case which has been ordered by hon'ble
high court. In NANDIGRAM - police force are tourchered
there local people(gents& ladies) both.
I do have a few questions to the West Bengal's C.M...?
(a) if you do want to development of W.B. , why citizens of that state are not welcoming...?
(b). our west bengal is agriculture based state, Why are U destroying the agricultural industry..?
(c) Tata wants to buitup a SMALL industryCar, then, who much
land is required for TATA..? Why they are now intrested
to buildup the housing project..?
(d).Why are U not setup a settlement with the opposition leaders
in West Bengal..?
(e). why other leftest parties organisations are not accepting
your proposal regarding land reforms law..?
thats all
