I like these acquaintances and they like me too and I don;t know if it would be ok to ask if i could sit at lunch with them. i always wanted to, but i don't know if its arrogant at this point, since ive known them for years and never have but now i really want to be their friend.

It is absolutely ok. Be confident in yourself, there is no reason why you shouldn't make a new friend! I have a good friend now that I have known for years and only recently gotten close to. I wouldn't have if I hadn't been persistent and since then he has given me some fantastic advice, boosted my self-esteem and just made life more fun. There is nothing arrogant about wanting to sit with people whose company you enjoy, and you never know how much new friends can enrich your life! Stick your neck out there!

Just out of curiousity what is the reason as to why you are wanting to hang out with them now instead of then. Dont get me wrong people change but is is a rather easy answer. You should walk up to them and ask to sit with them, if they like you as well like you claim then they should have no problem having you sit with them right ?

It's definitely okay to ask them if you could sit at lunch with them. It wouldn't hurt to try, right? Plus, if you want to be friends with them, approaching them, and a little chat will be a good start. Just be yourself. Don't worry about it.

i think you should ask to have lunch with them because i mean they do like you right so there shouldn't be a problem .that's is not considered being arrogant or doing to much . what it simply means is that you would like to father you all relationship.

It's okay...everyone changes as they grow up so it would be perfectly fine for you to go sit with them...as long as they don't mind. Just try it out...and if it doesn't go okay...you can easily go back to where you sat before. No harm in seeing how it goes.
