no I don't see it ever being a possibilty. not by provewn methods of travel.
even if we were able to tap into some energy source that allowed us to move the earth, the innertial stress of a large rocket or some sort of tethered system would kill life as we know it. shift in gravity, shift in rotation, shift in climate. with the earth as sensitive as it is to being in orbit around the sun, any slight movement would really mess things up.
there's always some sort of gravity drive or slipspace travel, that wouldn't effect literal motion of the earth, but that's 100 percent theoretical.
and it would have to be immediate. the earth is not worth saving if the life it holds dies off in space and that's what would happen if it was taken away from the sun for any lenth of time. once again the boishere of earth is extremely sensitive.
we'd have an easier time colonizing a new planet.

Yes it is possible but would cost more money that all the money on earth. The cheapest way to do it is to build giant rocket engineas on the moon. Then you can use the moons gravitational pull to gently move the earth. Good Luck

Its not possible because the eatrh is stuck in the space time curvature created by the sun.
