It is my opinion woman prefer the lies the truth put's them off at least thats my experance with the lies they hear only what the want hear the truth dos not do it for them. the daft old man says now you have gone and done it you will never hear the last of it. but do feel free to have a nice day or night.p.w.l.

ehem...not all women prefer hearing the lies...

honestly i would prefer truth...i know that lies are sweet and pleasing to the ears but would you rather know that someone was fooling you?! i know or maybe we know that truth really hurts! but then, after sometime it will eventually vanished as you know how to accept the real you...and lies, they would only bring you pain forever...

what's is the use of hearing lovely words about you when you deeply know that you are not the person they describe...i mean you're just fooling yourself and wanting to be someone you know you will never be...

just think of this:
I would rather choose to be true than being perfect...

i prefer to hear the truth about myself that way i know my strengths and weaknesses and my friends obviously do too which is always a good thing. praise where praise is due and a big heavy bump back down to earth when you get carried away with yourself, the truth keeps it real x

Truth wins, hands down. If I find out someone has lied to me, I feel insulted.

Honesty is always the best policy I think. As long as my friend gave constructive criticism rather than rudeness I would appreciate them having the guts to tell me.

I'd like to think my friends would confront the lie as they hear it, then tell me about it if necessary.
I won't pass on idle nonsense if I can address the issue myself. I would only then tell my friends about it if it would not cause unnecessary hurt.
But if it's important I would discuss it with them tactfully.
