hi, i have a tree that is cusing major cracks and buckling ofsidewalk and driveway. any tips on best wy to repair, and materials necessary? thanks!

Materials? Chainsaw to take out the tree. That is going to be a forever pain. Cause seriously, you got to get rid of or remove the old concrete slab / dig down till you find all the roots that are under the sidewalk and go down 2 plus feet - CUT them roots off no matter the size...then bury a sheet of sheet metal on edge like an underground wall so that the tree is deprived of water from that side, put the dirt back, pack it with watering and gravel and the lay the old or pour a new concrete slab on top.

Break out damaged concrete, remove involved tree roots, level dirt, put in forms around removed concrete area and pour in new concrete and smooth.

If you dont want to spend the money to replace it, cut out the sections that are bad and repour...
