Hi, I finished my period on the 25, 26th January 2007, and today the date is 5 february and I have started again, its light but dont think its normal! I have had my period since i was 11 years old and I am now 21 and they have been going like clock work since i was about 16. I havent had this before, but last satarday i had extreme pains in my lower stomach and had to go to the doctors, she said it might be a bug ive picked up, then it cleared up the next day, but, sunday(yestarday) i got a few pains and felt really unwell, thats when i noticed i had a few blood spots on my underwear, and today, its still light but blood is still there????
Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Last time I had sex was september 2006, so its not likely to be that, well I wouldnt think so anyway!

It could be ovulation, i know that every once in a while, exactly a week after my period has ended i see some spotting.. following with extream pain in my pelvic area, and stomach cramps.. it usually lasts for 48 hours. To be sure see your gyno, but im sure your fine.

Thats not uncommon, and not really a second period.. its still the same one. I do (or did) that regularly. I'd start... go for 3 days.. stop for 2.. then go for 2 more days. Like clockwork for many years.
If you're concerned ask your gyno/family practicioner.

If you are sexually active, it may have been implantation bleeding, indicating that you conceived a baby.
