I am in the habit of being late to things that are routine such as early morning classes or things that I do every day (I'm not in the habit of being late to important things like weddings though).

It's a bad habit because it tells people that you don't care enough to show up on time.

Of course, for some things like parties it's better to be a little late than early because they may still be setting up.

I am to a point.Sometimes just b/c I don't want to be the first person there,if it's a party my kids have to go to for a kid from school..just to avoid the awkwardness, but only like 10-15 mins late!

No I hate to have to make an entrance. I'll show up a little bit early but never late.
