I have a 1300 MGz (1.30 GHz) CPU. I'm looking at it the mozilla firefox software and the file is only 5.69 MB. So why is it not downloading b/c I only see a 1% download success rate. I mean whats up with that, I've been waiting for about 30 min and it still has 1% download success rate.

Just to make sure the the firefox download center isn't screwed up, I'd tried downloading the window media player 9 from it's website and it is taking a long to load up onto the next page to download.

So whats wrong with my computer?

Does it has anything to do with my RAM which is 512 RAM. So someone help me bc I r/m using my laptop and it wasn't this slow.

May be you need to check the Internet connection or if there is any spammer that is eating up your bandwidth.

It depends on the speed of the connection, but it sounds like your download timed out, cancel the download, and restart it.

It shouldn't take very long at all. Run your anti-virus program. Then download and run Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft Ad-Aware. Then try to download it again.
