I'm really concerned about having any odor down there so I've always used Dial Anti-Bacterial soap there. Most of the times, I'll wash externally only w/ the Dial soap, but sometimes I'll go ahead and lather up inside, like during my periods or after having sex, just to feel more clean and to get rid of any foul odors. I always rinse really well after washing, but I've heard that using any soap down there will upset the pH balance and cause more of an odor or increase risk of yeast infection or other odor causing infections down there, so lately I've been washing w/ just plain warm water, but I just don't feel clean w/ out soap. I've heard there are some pH balance soaps available and I'm thinking of maybe trying some of those instead. Are there any good brands you all would recommend for the pH balance soaps? Or maybe I'm thinking of trying Summer's Eve Feminine Wash since the bottles say they are soap free. What do you all recommend to get really clean and odor free down there?

washing "down there" is like washing your eyeballs.

let your body keep those places clean by themselves.

and what is wrong with having your own scent? as long as you shower often, there won't be anything offensive about "down there" at all.

have a nice day!

I've had vaginal odor problem over 4 years. I tried everything, of course I went to the DR. about a hundred times, probably not that many, but it sure seems like it. It never did any good for long and caused all kinds of other issues having to do with taking too many antibiotics. It wasn't until I stumbled upon the information on this site
( http://best-vaginal-odor-treatment.blogspot.com/ ), that my life changed completely. I'm feeling so much better now and all of my symptoms are totally gone. I had a big problem with nasty discharge and odor. I'm happy to say that is no longer MY problem. As far as I'm concerned, I am totally cured and it only took about a week from start to finish.

Summers Eve Reviews

You aren't supposed to really use soap on the outside of that area, let alone the inside. Don't use douche, either. Vaginas are self-cleaning, and douching or using soap, especially in them, can really mess with the natural flora going on in there. Yeast infections are far nastier than anything a healthy vagina will come up with.

You'll never be odor-free down there. Men aren't, either. If the odor is strong and off-putting, go to your doctor. There are plenty of infections that can cause bad scents. Other than that, you need to work on accepting your body. I'm all for cleanliness, but what you're doing with the soap and the douche is going to make you sick. If you must use soap, do get something gentle and scent free, and only use it outside.

I've got a BRILLIANT feminine wash try "Fem fresh" they have a feminine wash & feminine wipes annnnnnnnnddddd a feminine deodrant that you spray down below (NOT INSIDE)!! i use them and they are the best!! lightly fragranced and gental!! you cant get it from Sainsbury's or Superdrug!! The deodrant is especially good & do not use any washes or soaps inside yourself that is what can cause probs!! it cleans itself out, you just have to clean the other bits!! also, when you are on your period, you should try "Always Freshell" the pad with the wipe, again tested so that it wont upset you down below, & u can stay fresh when its not possible to shower at that time!! i love these products, hop this helps!!

Check this out and go to product range at the bottom!! -

Externaly, I like summer's eve wash. Internally, I suggest that you stick with regular water, no soap. if you really have a concern about being clean inside, you should really consult a doctor first.
