Quakers also sided with the British in the Revolution, refused to aid the Continental army, in fact were spies, not just "neutral" in some cases as they always claimed, and sat comfortably eating Christmas dinner when our troops were starving just a few miles away at Valley Forge. It was a PRIMITIVE belief system that women were inferior to men, they have a right to believe what they choose, but no one has a right that there opinion should govern others.
