I'm sorry, I don't watch TV, so I'm not sure if this is right, but I'm a rather big music person, and a fairly popular, especially among the Indie rock scene, cover of "Melt with you" was performed by Nouvelle Vague. See if that's it.

I don't know, but she is not the original artist that performed that song. It is a remake of an 80's tune by Modern English.
