I've saved the ones that I liked (but don't have DVDs of). The rest -- the best way to do this is to take them to your LOCAL Public Library -- they LOVE it that one is willing to DONATE their old VHS Movies, and there are plenty of patrons of the Library who have VHS players but not DVD players!

I was gonna sell them during a garage sale, so i asked a friend how much should I sell them for and asked $4 and she said that was expensive. So I didn't sell them. I got some good movies and a working VCR. In my case, I never know when I'll want to pop in my copy of "Amazon Women on the Moon" or "The Kentucky Fried Movie" so I think I'll keep them for posterity.

i convert mine to DVD. Some are really worn and have lines going through as you watch them, but i will still try to save em and put em on DVD. It's not going to have the clarity of a real DVD, but why throw them out if they can be watched converted to DVD?

I won't throw mine away. I feel they will be worth some money one day.
I have ALL the Disney movies on VHS and now I am starting to collect them on DVD.
Who knows, maybe one day, DVD will be obsolete also.

No. I sell them on ebay for less than a buck. I feel less of a reason to buy dvd's because they will change the format yet again and get people to buy the same movies all over again.
Great marketing, huh?

Most of ours burned in our house last year. There were a few in a storage shed that didn't burn, but that's where they are - except for Hope Floats. I like to watch that when I'm in the mood to cry and haven't bought it on DVD yet.

All my Disney movies are VHS. I can't bear to part with them. As movies are released fromt he vault again I am slowly building up my Disney collection w/ DVD but until I get them all on DVD I can't get rid of them.
