use hypnose by lancome. its great. if your eyelashes tend to clump together, use a safety pin to help comb out ur eyelashes right after u put the mascara on. make sure that you wait for them to dry before you touch them or blowdry ur hair after u separate them with the safety pin or they will dry stuck together and then they become really tough to spread out.i also use an eyelash curler before i put the mascara on which helps...the more experience you have with this, the better they will turn out. i get compliments all the time b/c of this little trick!

I am in love with mascara. I am a mascara addict...I cannot walk into Target without buying mascara, I just can't do it... L'Oreal Telescopic KILLS...it lengthens like nobody's business and you can't beat the price. I'd recommend it to anyone. Try doing just the tips of your lashes first, then, take the wand and just kind of hold it against the base of your eyelashes while your eye is open. Then wiggle it back and forth a little while you blink your eye closed, slowly. It will give the right amount of mascara deposited in the right places and evenly too. Sonia Kashuk makes a lash comb you can get at Target, it actually is a brow brush and lash comb but anyway. It's white and the two sides flip out for either lashes or brows...anyways the lash side is a comb but it's like needles almost instead of those plastic combs other people make. It is the best...dangerous if you're not careful though, no joke. Use it before you put your mascara on and then sweep it through after you put it on to separate any clumps. I just adore mascara.

I curl them before i put mascara on them. That makes them stand up, then they sort of spread out when you put mascara on them.

I try to get right at the eyelid to curl them. Sometimes Ive gone as far as heating my curling tool with the hair dryer. be careful tho, you could burn your eyelid...I know! Then I use Great Lash by Maybeline. Im not in love with it, but it does the job until I run out. I start to put it on on the outside, then the middle then a little towards my nose. I brush it up and out by the outside again and leave it alone. If any are clumped-Ill use a opened up big, safety pin to separate them. Then I do the other eye. I put a little on the bottom, but only near the outer part of my eye.

for cheap: (for more expensive, use a eye lash brush and lancome or estee lauder mascara)

use your toothbrush and separate all your lashes...
then...

heat your eyelash curler for 5 seconds under ur blowdryer...

then use maybelling 5x maximum length and fill mascara,

then brush again with toothbrush,

then curl again,

then mascara one more coat...

this will last your eyes all day, curled, spread out, beautiful, long lashes

Make sure the mascara you buy has a nice full brush. When you apply it, "wiggle" the brush back and forth at the root of your eyelashes before sweeping the brush up to the ends of the lashes. The wiggling at the root helps to seperate the lashes before coating them in mascara. :)

When applying the mascara use a zig-zag motion. This loosens the lashes and lengthens the look. It also helps with even distribution and prevents little lumps.
