Renzo: The defense and special teams (Hester) got them to the Super Bowl, not Grossman. They got there in spite of him.

Grossman will start however the Bears may bring someone else in from Free Agency to compete with him for the starting job. Despite Grossman having some terrible games this season he is young and inexperienced and losing in the Superbowl will make him a better player.

Grossman is in a similar situation now as Kyle Boller was in last year for the Ravens. However i think Grossman is still at least in Lovie Smiths mind the Bears QB of the future

He had some really good games but the defense definitely won most of their games for them. I think if they can find someone with more potential they will get rid of Grossman, if not they will keep doing what they are doing!! I think it's so funny that Grossman is from Indiana and his parents are huge Colts fans. Maybe they were cheering for the Colts!!

of course, he got them to the super bowl with a record of 15-3. for his first year of beiing a full time qb thats not bad, he just needs to work on some stuff like not putting so much air under the ball, but its all good

Yes. However some real competition will be bought in during training camp at the QB position.
