Gondwana refers to the Australasian continent.

I believe the Egyptians, Greeks and Phonecians referred to Africa as "The Land of (the) Kush". See Ptolomey (ancient geographer).

Never heard of another name for Africa
But the Mega continent that held all the continents before break-up was called PANGEA

i do not think africa had an ancient name, mainly because africa was not seen as a continent in ancient times.various countries had their own ancient times. the egyptians called somalia punt, sudan was called meroe, egypt called itself kmt.
