who is thinking of running for office?? When I recently asked a question about how much and what kind of experience a presidential candidate should have, 90% of the respondents said that the willingness to serve was more important. A president is surrounded by advisers from every category imaginable; shouldn't we just have someone intelligent enough to weed out the right answers, and reflect the will of the people?

That would make too much sense. It would also mean that anybody could be president, you know, you, me, a 'regular citizen', and the powers that be can't have that. How would they be able to manipulate the office if there were someone in there with intelligence and common sense? They need old school people, yes men in order to keep the charade of Democratic government alive.

The words 'keep referring t experience'; I don't hear Reps saying any such thing. I hear reporters pointing this out. Not saying a congressman/woman has never made the comment, but you are stating it as if it is a common reference.
Obama has no experience and Hillary is not qualified to take care of my dog. Neither is she capable. These are the two who I hear reporters and commentaries refer to their experience.

Right but they didn't worry about "experience " with Arnold, but I bet they wish they had, he's a Democrat in Republicans clothing. and I say to Maria Shriver, "You go girl!" When Arnold gets done meeting with Tony Blair about global warming maybe the Democrats can introduce a amendment to let foreign born citizens become President. Life is good

Better question for you...why do Democrats keep talking about ethics when they gave us Bill Clinton for 8 years who was easily the most ethically challenged person to sit in the White House.
