Well the truth is that Scorpio's are known for being very secretive. They keep their emotions inside because they do not like being hurt. It's a defense mechanism they are experts in...lol.
The truth is he does care - a lot. So much so that you may find him becoming jealous of those other than him that may get close to you.
There are ways to coax a scorpio to answer the questions. They need reassurance that you are commited to them. Scorpio's are not a sign of casual encounters...they are more interested in relationships. Loyalty and stability are their cornerstones.
Maybe have him over for dinner one night, alone. Explain to him that you are interested in him and if he is interested in pursuing anything with you, then he needs to speak up, because you are not going to wait for him to feel courageous enough to speak up. Tell him that you care deeply about him and would like to seek a committed relationship (only if you are interested in doing so).

I don't know any Scorpio who has not done the same including myself.He's afraid of getting hurt give him some more time ,keep reminding him how much you care
but give him space. I know we can be frustrating at times
with the way we act , aspecially when it comes to Love.

keep on doing you and he will open up. that sounds just like me, he is afraid to be hurt and has not really let his gaurd down. I bet if you tell him what you just said here he will appreciate it ;) The more my ex did this to me, the more i was willing to let my feelings show. I am a Scorpio. We appreciate honesty and when people let us know that they're here for us.
