The old saying is true it is better to be safe the sorry. If I was her I would have it looked at. My bestfriend hurt her leg about 5 years back and never went to the docotor . When she did go she had cancer and eventually had to have her leg removed. I know that probbaly scares you but you never know and if it is nothing then she waste sometime and made you feel better. To me that is not a a hard choice. I hope this help and I will be praying for her that it turn out to be a waste of time.

While it is possible to have lumps in the breast that are not harmful, a bump that hurts should be checked by a doctor. I would tell your mother to make an appointment as soon as possible.

Very concerned. It could be a start of breast cancer or just a ingrown hair. I highly suggest you let your mother know to see a doctor they quick.
Oh, Does Breast Cancer run in the family?

Because it hurts it could not normally be a cancer but an inflamation pl contact a doctor without any delay and get it treated.

To be honest, Breast Cancer is NOT the only thing it could be, i knew someone who had it and she told me that all of her doctors and surgoens at the hospital told her that MOST cancer lumps are virtually painless, it could just be a cyst!! make sure she seeks medical help ASAP!!

It could be a harmless cyst or a tumor. She needs to go to the doctor and find out. She needs to go as soon as possible. If it turns out to be malignant, early treatment can save her life.

It has to be seen by a Doctor. Just assuming will not help.
You should show to a good Doctor and take his advise.
