just making sure i'm doing it right, can some1 simplify it plz

g(x)=2/(1/x)

2/(1/x) is the same as 2/1 / 1/x.

Dividing two fractions is the same as multiplying the reciprical so 2/1 times x/1 is equal to 2x

the / is basically divide. If you know this, the sum becomes easier.

2/ (1/x)

= 2 * (x/1)
= 2 * x
=2x
