I loved Angels and Demons, actually more than Da Vinci Code. Also a good one, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. Really spellbinding, I couldn't put it down. Anything by Stephen Lawhead is incredible, if you are interested in the Arthur legends then his Pendragon cycle is for you. He also just released a book called Hood which is the first in his King Raven series, an adaptation of the Robin Hood legend which is fantastic, another that I couldn't put down. And Wicked by Gregory Macguire is phenomenal as well, follows the "life and times of the wicked witch of the west."

Try "Angelhair" by Joseph Noga. The story is a psychological thriller and a real page turner as they say. You can read a free preview of the book on the authors website www.joenoga.com so check it out and if you like the book help me spread the word of this good book around. Enjoy the read

I can suggest two books that are my favorites. One is Roots by Alex Haley, one of the best books i have ever read in my life . The other is The Five People You Meet In Heaven. Very interesting take on the afterlife.

Pick anything by John D. MacDonald especially the Travis McGee books there are only 21 and they start with "The Deep Blue Goodbye". As you may know they are all colors and the prose is just out of this world.

Try John Steinbeck "Travels with Charlie" a common place book but interesting.
Or John Milton "Paradise Lost" a brilliantly written book with a tremendous philosophy and fits today as well.
