what sorts of legal doctrines or principles will an activist judge favor? please help me with this, i need it for class tomorrow...thanks in advance!

In current context an activist Judge would most likely move to challenge the Patriot Act, Presidential Signing Statements, Warrentless wiretaps, as well as the restoration of Habeous Corpus.

An activist judge would be somewhat liberal and open for change. They would be big on civil rights. They would be ok with overturning decisions of the congressional and executive branches. They are willing to go against the constitution if they believe it would better our country.
