Just wondering...is she bi, lesbian, or straight? It only matters because I plan on proposing to her in the next 90 days and want to be sure I'm barking up the right tree.

I've never really heard anything about Joan's sexual orientation. She could be a tough rock 'n' roll straight chick or a lesbian rocker. I don't care. I just like her music. I'm happy that I had the opportunity to see her in concert about five years ago. She was awesome.

I went to see her in concert and she had a larger lesbian following and they were not pretty!

She is reputed to be gay. She sang "Crimson & Clover" (I don't really know her, but I think I could love her, crimson and clover, over and over...) without changing the gender, so I don't think it's new thing either.
