Well, your daughter will probably be potty-trained soon and it won't matter anymore. So you have to ask yourself, is it really a battle worth fighting at this point?

Hand the kid to him, and take off for the day. He'll have to change the kid eventually. That's ridiculous, that's like saying it's beneath him to deal with a poopy diaper but it's okay for you to, which means you are what, somewhat less important than him? Sure it's gross....and you should both suffer together. That's what loves all about.

My ex refused to change diapers....until I had an emotional breakdown three weeks pp and locked myself in the bathroom screaming and crying. That was the first and last time he changed a diaper.
Notice I said "my ex" ;)
If he is helping with at least some of the diapers, I don't think it's that much of a problem.

Few things...
If your selfish, unhelpful husband chooses to be a prick and leave the diaper-work to you, I say you don't hide his identity. And I really don't see the point in hiding your baby's identity with a couple of initials... he's certainly not embarrased about his excessive dumping skills (in fact, he's probably proud).
I think that DH (which I think may stand for Doesn't Help) needs to get off his lazy bum, and start indulging in the doody!!

You say DD...Maybe your hubby is reluctant because he's not sure if he's wiping her properly. Remember, his parts are simple, quite unlike ours and hers! He could be worrying that he's hurting her or wiping too much. If she's nearly 2, I'd say just deal with the poopies yourself and before long she'll be using the potty.

I would say if you are both equally busy or both working he should definitely help you without complaining but if he is working and you are a stay at home mom, I would just grin and bear it. It's part and parcel of motherhood. That's how it is for me anyway. Hope I've helped and good luck.

well, if he doesn't do diapers, and DD is nearly 2, daddy should potty train...your logic is, it'll be easier for a male to teach a male... they have all the same equipment, see ?

My husband hates changing them but does it! If he really hates it, why not you do it and have him do something else, such as giving her a bath or something? Good luck... she should be out of diapers soon I would hope!
