wow, this is a hard one to explain.

first off, you've go the wrong perception of what the internet actually is.

What the Internet Isn't:

1. a space, such as a hard drive, where websites are stored
2. one central place that you can access from your computer
3. a piece of hardware, like your computer

What the Internet IS:

1. a network of millions of computers that you can access from your PC
2. a never-ending, always expanding "web" of websites that cannot be shut down from one central point

when you access a website, such as Google, what your computer is doing is connecting to the computers at Google Inc.(located in california), where google shows you a webpage that you can interact with. ALL the internet sites in the world are just computer that have websites on them that you can connect.

all these comptuers together connect to form a giant, inter-connected web we call "The Internet"

i hope that gave you a clearer understanding of what the internet really is.

It all depends on the amount of servers willling to hold information and allow it to be accessible. As long as there are people willing to pay, there should be space as the Internet is not just one location. As computers are able to do more with less there should be no end to it all.

No.
The internet is not contained in one place.
It's a large network of computers (servers) all over the world that each stores information and hosts websites. Anyone can create a server and host a website if he had a computer.
