These little pests are a pain to get rid of. You would need to get a exterminator. But if your trying to go cheap I would use this gel like peanut butter looking stuff from wal-mart. I think Raid makes it. This **** is great. They eat it and then take it back to the nest and throw it up for others to eat. It has a acid in it that kills them. She needs to make sure she keeps her Kitchen cleaned up all day and night. No dishes in the sink. Any pets? They will eat off of pet food. I also heard they will eat the glue off of wall paper. YUCK! If she lives in apartments. It will be hard to get rid of. Cause if she has her place done they will just go lay eggs in some one else's place. Then when it wares off they will be back. The whole process takes time. Its not a over night thing. Even if you spray your self there are eggs that hasn't been hatched and when it does. There are millions of new roaches. They breed fast and there is millions when they hatch. She will need to spray once a month or bomb the house. Cause the cycle of a baby roach to an adult don't take long then it starts laying its eggs. I say do some back ground research. You have a computer right? Go to ask.com or search roaches. Get the info. If she does live in a apartment, she might need to talk to the landlord or other tenants to see if they have problems and what to do about it. These gross bugs could come in off of anything or anywhere.

Yes, the peanut butter gel like stuff is unbelieavable. My grandfather used to use the sticky paper stuff but I would constantly change the things and more and more roaches were showing up (he was very unhygenic with his food - left food out all the time). I put the gel in the corners they hung around - just a few drops here and there. What happens is that they eat the poison, then secrete everywhere the same poison that they eat. The other roaches love eating each other's crap and pass it on as well. The poison will spread like wildflower. After I laid a few drops on the monday, I came back on Wednesday and there were thousands of dead roaches crawling slowly in the middle of the floor ready to croak. I swept up 2 grocery bags of dead roaches. Thursday, about 1 bag and a half - Friday another half a bag. After that I didn't see another roach again. We moved shortly after so I don't know if they did come back. I also gave it to my sister in MOntreal and she said it worked like magic.

I don't know who made it since it was 10 years ago. It came in a toothpaste type container. Seriously - it was great great stuff.

Move out. There really is no good way of getting rid of them. If you live in the southern part of the country you are pretty much screwed. They are able to live outside and multiply. Up in the colder areas you have to eliminate what is attracting them I.E. leaks, food sources, living like a pig etc... Calling an exterminator will keep you from seeing them but as you will find out when you do call an exterminator they will throw a contract in your face that will cost around 50-120 a month. That is so they can keep coming back once a month. The only thing they actually exterminate is your wallet. Good Luck.

Move all food items, pets and yourself from the house for a day and set off a roach bomb in each room and bait the place. Baiting the place with roach baits can work but will take a couple months to work as both the current roaches and future ones from eggs need to be killed.
