Ok, you are just getting ready to leave work and go home, then your boss comes in. She's got a bunch of balloons and a card, and says "this was delievered for you" You open the card and it says (with a copy of an ultrasound in it)
Dear daddy-
I can't wait to meet you! Mommy has told me all about how wonderful you are, and sissy says you give the best hugs and tell the best stories. I want to come out and play, but mommy says I have to wait. Dont worry about me, Mommy takes good care of me, and is waiting for you at home.

That's really cute, but make sure that your boyfriend/husband WANTS kids! Otherwise his scared/disappointed reaction will ruin the surprise.

I am not a man, so I hope you don't mind me answering. =;o)
I love your ideas... ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! But if I were telling my husband about a new baby, I would want to be there to see his face/reaction. If you have it delivered to him at work, you won't get to share that special moment with him. Know what I mean?
What if you get the balloons/flowers/card/whatever and bring them home some weekend and have your daughter deliver them to daddy along with breakfast in bed? That way you can all celebrate as a family.

I found out we were expecting two weeks before Christmas and my husband wasn't home when I took the test... When I realized it was positive I wrapped it in Christmas paper and then waited on the porch with it until he pulled into the driveway... I'm sure he thought I was nuts especially since he hadn't even gotten the car in park and I was already at the driver side window tapping on it with his "gift"... It was a memorable way for him to find out... Unusual, but memorable!!! Good luck to you and I'm sure you'll think of something clever :)

i think theyre both good but i like the first one more it seems more special and sounds like a chid would say it. I would go with the first one it is beautiful. good luck with your baby
