Ok first off I must explain I started Kindergarden a year late since the school I went to in New York felt since my bithday was so late in the school year it would be best if I started the next year. So instead of being part of the class of 99, I was with the class of 00, but then I went to pre-first thus making me a member of the class of 01. I graduated at age 20 and went right to a community college, in 3 years time I had my Liberal Arts degree. I then went off to a 4 year college and spent one year there working on a History degree before I moved with my family to Florida. I had to spend a year away as I moved, and got my residence established and then got into a 4 year College but finding I am not liking my Major and not sure what I want to do, and not sure what if any skills I have to get a job. I am thinking maybe I just need to go get a job and work for awhile or go to a community college down here and figure out what it is I am good at, and then major in that.

I am also sufferign right now with an anxiety disorder that is hindering my school work. I am only taking one class so I am as part time as you can get. This is due to when they allowed me to sing up for classes and the fact I could not get into any thing other than the one history course I needed. I just know I am not sure what I want to do beyound college. At 25 soon to be 26 I should have some idea right? I also don't want to be in college forever! I am not looking to hold any high degrees.

as it stands I hold a High School Diploma, and associates degree in Liberals Arts. So I have the basics already taken care of, I am at Jr. Standing and needing to make up my mind on what to do, but no idea what.

What do you love to do? Art? Writing? Teaching? Building things?
What you love to do should guide you on what you study.

A history major with no plans for graduate school is rather generic education, but should be good enough for a teaching job in elementary or high school, or working in a museum, a library, or even the goverment.

Definitely Talk to a school advisor for some ideas. Finally, don't let anxiety overpower you. Go to the doctor and ask for help. You are not the only one with anxiety and and you should not be ashamed or feel bad about it.

So, ask for help from your school advisors and your doctor and you will be just fine.

Good luck

Take care of your health first. Then get your degree. If you have to get it one class at a time, fine. Just get the classes done. As a junior you need to choose a major. If you're still undecided then get a Liberal Arts degree.

Talk to your school counselor about getting an internship. This is a perfect way to explore a career. Volunteer with a non-profit organization that's related to something you think might be a good career.

It doesn't matter if you're 30 when you get your degree (how old will you be in 8 years if you DON'T get your degree???!), just keep plugging along at it, because you will NEVER be sorry that you got it!

God bless & Good luck!
