I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem. At the moment, I am bypassing the Explorer 7 browser and am using Mozilla Firefox as a means of being able to get on the Web. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you deal with it?

What do you mean by 'screwing you your ability to use your ISP' ?? Obviously, you're able to connect to the Internet since Firefox works.

Internet Explorer 7 works fine. It's just the look of it that is throwing people off and making them think it doesn't work, but in fact it does.

PM me if you need specific help with a problem.
