Eerie. I've been listening to this song all day, and for the first time in a few years...

Anyways, ;), "I Miss You" is a general missing-you-song. Let's put it in 3 parts.

1- The Angel From My Nightmare part.
It's pretty much showing how he misses the person, recounting things they did together, the way they act, etc. It's got some pretty interesting metaphors, as well.
2- Where are you and I'm so Sorry
A much clearer statement, with only 1 metaphoric statement (being the spiders line) saying less about the memories themselves and more about the person, and what the loss of them has done to the singer.
3- Don't waste your time
This could have a number of meanings, but they all pretty much imply that the singer knows and loves and has been with the person for such a long time that they've become part of them, and also hints at a bit of sadness saying "It's okay, you've got better things, go do them".

I hope this helped. Amazing song. I'm normally one of those pretentious Indie listening people that won't like something when it's hit the radio, so to say I spent an entire day listening to this song is saying something. ;) Haha.
