Your can is equipped with traction control, and it is computer controlled.
The computer uses sensors at the wheels to identify wheels that have lost or will lose traction, and will control throttle and brake to a great degree to avoid loss of traction due to ice, mud, water, rain or sudden stops or acceleration.
If the roadbed was less than ideal while the light was illuminated, this is the computer's means of communicating to you that traction control was in active mode.
If there were no reason for the computer to engage the traction control, then there may well be a fault in the circuits or wheel sensors.
Pay very close attention to this light, and if it continues to illuminate without cause, inquire with the dealer as to the cause.
NOTE:------>
If there is no cause for the light to illuminate, but continues to, the car is safe enough to drive, but this safety feature is either disabled or undependable. Brakes will work fine, but will revert to the brakes of the '90s.

It is an automatic feature which gives you traction control when the car slightly seems to slip or slide
You could have done this if it was raining snowing, or just hit a small spot of oil in the road. If it continues to do this it is a malfunction to the system.
Bring it to a mechanic to fix the rpoblem
