Let’s say one day there are women robots or you built one yourself. To the actual details from head to toe, to feel and think alike except that you put in your own modifications. If this woman robot that you built is everything you wanted—could you actually replace her for a real woman?

As ideal a robot might seem, the dynamics of a relationship could hardly be replaced with programmed responses.
However, recent research has shown that people respond too well to human like faces. Or even obviously fake teddy bear faces on robots. They get too attached to them.
Maybe it could work. But it is kind of creepy.

Some1 thought like u do (Metropolis). However, this robot would have no feelings and men would program for just one thing creating a robotic skivvy. In history no one could replace us we are not the Stepford Wives.
Men need real women.Every good man needs a good woman.Tell me this after this robot is built wouldn't the child population go down? What would happen when the male population die off leaving robots on this Earth?
Tell me whether building female robots is a good idea or not?

No I wouldnt do that. It would still be cheaper to have a woman. Why would I want to spent so much for a Robot.. I will still stick to having a woman. Its cheaper that way. Do you know how how much it will cost the robot to do laundry. Plus I doubt the robot will look after my kids and drop them off to school and pick them up. I say stick with the wife

Let me get this straight.

You look at a woman who reads the most popular women’s magazines about the ‘NEW’ sex spot or technique that, somehow, everybody throughout history has overlooked before, and how she can turn her man into a tiger in bed every night, several times a night.

You look at a woman who thinks that aborting the tiny woman she’s carrying in her womb is her ‘right’.

You look at a woman who, in her mind-warping grief for her dead son, demands that no other son serve in the military despite enemies who have sworn to—and tried to-- destroy us.

You look at a woman whose primary concern in life is American Idol, or some soap opera.

You look at a woman who thinks she can lost thirty pounds by eating grapefruit, along with her burger and fries.

And you think that THESE are real women, and not robots…?

This reminds me of the episode of Futurama "I Dated a Robot"

No I would not replace a woman with a robot. I would not mind having it as my play thing lol but as for it being a wife or lover, no. I just could not deal with artificial love and compassion.

Well, think about that movie: "The Stepford Wives" before you settle into replacing women....lol But honestly, I'd love to see robotics come into that form only if you can truly manage them and they don't turn on you. I'd only need one to keep my apartment clean, cook meals as needed, do laundry and other chores that I don't have time to do. Then back in the closet she'd go - with all her batteries and other points of contact, disarmed - in case she decided that she wanted to get rid of me in the night......lol But honestly - ain't nothing like the real thing baby - you need someone to 'argue with' so you will have someone to make up with later. Stepford Wives!!! Do men really believe we are so difficult that they would replace us with fake gals? Where's the challenge? Where's the surprise? Real women are so great, and we fit so well with real men...

this is really creepy. what about the whole emotional connection thing? what about loving someone for the ways that they suprise you with their personality. there is no mystery or suprise if you program her. fighting is normal and healthy. without the bad moments in the relationship the good ones would feel so sweet.

No. Because it will never ever happen. And if it does I can guarentee none of us will be alive to see it.

Why would you trade a real woman for artificial intelligence? Thats dumb.
