How long will it take for the object to hit the ground

h = -16^2 + 60t + 9

t = seconds
h = hieght

solve it for t. Set h = 0

0=-256 + 60t + 9
0=60t - 247 add 247 to each side of the equation
247 = 60t divide thru by 60
4.41166666 = t

4.41167 seconds :)
