There are alot of QB's in the league that could have got the Bears this far, all Rex had to do is make a couple plays a game and not make any mistakes. Before T. Harris and M. Brown went down the defense was alot better than they are now, even when Rex had a bad game they could overcome his mistakes, since the injuries he has had 4 bad games and we lost them all, even though the defense is still decent its not good enough to overcome Rex. Next year with the D healthy and all the special teams back and o-line and RB's back I still would rather see a little more seasoned QB, we had our chances to get Brees or Warner last year and passes and I think they will pass on any QB's in free agency this year.

If (a big IF) the Bears had any brains and a pair they would sign Jeff Garcia (Eagles) in a heartbeat. But they won't. The Bears cannot make any more money next year but they could make less by paying for a true QB like Garcia. Garcia says he won't mind playing second fiddle to McNabb next season, but if a potential contender (such as the Bears) step up with a decent proposal I think he will make the move. Grossman is way too inconsistent as a starter -- his best use is as backup at best. The Bears also must prepare to part with some big $$$ or risk losing Lance Briggs. As far as I'm concerned, they could lose Lovey, Turner, Rivera, and just about all their other coaches. It is not a very smart organization.

Drew Bledsoe--

Here is why Drew Bledsoe is a veteran QB; although not very mobile except for the Bears Mobility is not a problem because they have a very good O line! Plus he was the best QB the Cowboys could get in 5 years, cuz cmon QB don't grow on trees he showed the consistency and I think he would be a good replacement!

Not to sound like a jerk, but Rex Grossman will be their QB next year. After all he did lead them to the Super Bowl. As much as I can't stand the Bears and were glad they lost to the Colts, I don't think you can give up on a guy that led them that far.

I don't see why they took Orton out last year. He won 10 games for them. He has less physical talen than Grossman, but he looked more consistant.

Kyle Orton. Even though he sucks too and just manages the game.
