Kind of both... obviously the stronger the limbs get from exercise, the harder the baby will be able to kick. The less room he has as he develops, the harder he will seem to kick since there isn't enough room to manuever.

Well, when my wife was pregnant I definitely could not tell any difference from my hand on the tummy feeling a kick thru-out the entire pregnancy. It always felt the same, and she says no. So I guess it's all the same, but sometimes you may feel a kick a little stronger, but only occasionally.

It is both. The baby gets stronger which makes his kicks more noticeable and also he runs out of room which means you will feel more.

They say that typically, when you are farther along, baby is running out of room and no longer able to swim and bang around all day. Its a lot more cramped, so you still feel the movement, but it typically decreases for most women. If you are ever concerned, do a kick count. If you dont know how, ask your doc. Good luck!

It increases, but maybe it's just gradual enough of a change that you haven't noticed. Don't worry, one of these days you'll get a good one in the ribs or something and be like "OMG, this child is out to get me!" lol! But as it gets more and more cramped in there it will also decrease again. Don't worry about how much movement or strength of the kicks, just as long as you feel movements regularly and when you are resting you feel at least 10 in a 2 hour period.

Babies do gain strength as they grow, but they have less room to let loose in.You also get"acclimatised" to the movement from the inside,so that ,unless you get kicked or hit in an unusual or sensitive spot,it all starts to feel t he same.As long a s you are getting regular movement ,all is well. unless there have been problems it is only usually the last few weeks you may be asked to keep a kick chart.

just wait...he will. I am 29 weeks and he was kicking the crap out of me last night. So I rolled over and glared at his dad...LOL...Yes they will appear to kick harder as they are bigger, and stronger and have less space to move so you will feel it alot more.

usually its not so much of the kicking and hitting thats the problem. it more of general discomfort, every move seems to hurt, but if you are at that point, then don't worry about it and that baby will be out in no time,
