I was reading an article that called Tyra Banks fatt and she is still less then a size 5. She seemed to be very skinny to me. (I was really confused) Then I checked out other articles that stated that two women died from anerexia because they wanted to become models. (both size 2).

HERE IS MY OPINION
I personally find that the FLAT BOARD EUROPEAN IDEAL BODY-TYPE BORING AND DOWNN RIGHT UGLY. I want a WOMEN WHO IS MORE "JESSICA RABBIT" THAN CINDERELLA/SNOW WHITE!!!!!
(QUESTION FOR YOU) LETS FACE IT; American women; BLACK, WHITE AND LATINA have a larger body and thicker curves. (Statistics say that Americans have a little more "cushin" than Euros and Asians). Why the HEILLEE DOESN'T OUR IDEALISM or ASTHETICS OF BEAUTY DEPICT THE REALITY THAT WE SEE EVERY DAY?? Most guys I have talked with also said that SUPER MODELS may have beautiful photogenic faces but THEIR BODIES ARE TOO DAMMM UGLY! WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS??? We NEED MORE MARILAYN MANROWS/Dorothy Dandrigde type builds.

Some of you have really not read between the lines a bit. I do recognize that white American and European women come from the same place. lol However, my statement was more political and social. Our asthetics of Beauty (Euro vs. American) are "slightly different." Americans LIKE CURVES, (HIPS, LIPS AND FINGERTIPS) Euros like women to simply be thin. MY Question is why can't they fashion industry (different from movie and film) reflect American norms of beauty???

Whites in American came here from Europe. I don't think that you have been around many Europeans in your life time. You can't tell a European body from a white American body.

Also look at their traditional eating habits over in Europe and Asia. And you can see why they are thinner compared to fastfood nation America.

It doesn't matter in the real world, or maybe in California I am just lucky I guess. I will be 100% honest, I think too many Black girls in the U.S are very beautiful but don't do anything to stand out. I joined the Black student union at my school and only 3 of the many girls in it even wear makeup. I'm the only one who dresses in things other than jeans and just sneakers though. I don't know why that is? These girls don't wear any makeup, all have either straightened hair or their hair in a bun, and a few of them have worn sweats or basketball shorts every day we've had meetings. These are African American girls, I think they have more potential but some don't try. I'm Black in America and that hasn't been a problem for me. My Black friends growing up were all African, Jamaican or Dominican and they seem different to me for some reason.

I think you have a complex about women in general.
Women come in all shapes and sizes.
American standards is not at all the same as European standards.

North and East Europeans are generally more taller than other Europeans.

The reason that Americans are fatter is because of all of the trans fats, high fructose corn syrup in our boxed, fast-food capitalistic, have no time to cook society. I don't think that's a good thing. However, some curves are natural and a good thing. The anorexic model look isn't good. You just have to find a happy medium. Healthy, curves-in-the-right-places is what we should idolize. Real women with real women features, along with healthy habits.

I agree, I personally would fit the super skinny body type (not on purpose though) and I definitely think that shape, curves, hips, thighs, and @ss are better; way better

Thin women are also beautiful, you make it seem like we should be disgusted by them. You should think first before you insult others with your 'people should be like this and that' attitude. Have you even heard of naturally thin people? Just because they are thin, it doesn't mean they're unattractive and as well as vice versa.
