put them in a vase with half water and out a regular aspirin in the water daily! trust me i get them for my wife al the time ! also u can clip the ends too

this will help keep them alive as long as possible:
1) cut the stems underwater while the stems are submersed in a sink or large bowl of water. this will stop any air bubbles from getting into the stems and blocking the uptake of water to the flowers.
2)put them in a place which is cool and out of direct sunlight.
3) dont add anything to the water except for preservative supplied by the florist.
4) change the water on the 3rd day, again recutting the stems underwater.
5) dont get the petals wet.

cut a half inch off the bottom of the stems every other day. call your florist, they'll say the same thing
