Yes, all the schools in my area have uniforms. I go to an all girls Catholic School so we're pretty strict on wearing the uniform right..not that anyone does but oh well. We have summer and winter uniforms [tartan skirt and tie..quite ugly if u ask me]. But yeah uniforms take the stress out of having to choose what to wear to school everyday. Its hard enough choosing something to wear on a free dress day or weekend with friends let alone everyday.

A school uniform was required when I went to school and it was pretty strict- we even got fined if our shirts were untucked or we forgot to wear a belt! But honestly, I appreciated the uniforms. It did take a lot of stress off of clothing and allowed our uniqeness to come through in more constructive ways.

Yes, for the whole country country. Because every one wears it they don't really mind it except that some schools are more stricter ( no jewelry, only white shoes, only turquoise pinafore with elbow length sleeve, socks must be 2 inch from the ankle etc.) This continues on until secondary school (junior and high school) but once we do get to college we have freedom on not wearing a pinafore but a certain dress code (national dress on mondays and fridays, casual on other weekdays).

I'm 18 so I'm not in school any more but we never did have to wear a uniform, we just wore regular clothes but there was a dress code like we were not aloud to wear clothes that showed to much like cleavage, naked back and in one school or may be in both we was not aloud to wear clothes that talked about beer. in one school if u was caught wearing a shirt talking about beer u had to take it off if u had a shirt underneath and if u didn't have one underneath then i think u Had to call home for a another shirt. and i think if u showed to much back then u might of just gotten spoken to and not Had to do any thing about it but most girls parable just cover up around teachers. in the last school I'm not to sure about it .

When I was in secondary school we didn't have uniforms. But there were many rules connected with clothes and style - no jewellery, short skirts, mini tops etc. Make-up was also forbidden.
